Nilphamari later from Sayanat , Dhaka.Rabindra Sangeet lesson from
Wahidul Haque and Sadi Md. Tariqullah and Classical music from ustad
Sanjeev dey.
Enlisted in Bangladesh Betar (radio) in 1976.
Enlisted in Bangladesh television (BTV) in 1980 and now performing
as a special grade singer (esp. Tagore’s song); and also performing in
ATN, Channel i , NTV and RTVetc.
Enlisted as a regular singer in Shilpakala Academy, Dhaka and has
Performed many solo program organized by some renowned cultural
Organizations (Saralipi, Kranti, Fulkali, Amra Surzamukhi, Bisshasa-
hitya kendro etc) and also attending Fete de la Musique at Alliance
Francaise, Dhaka as a solo performer of Tagore’s, Atul Prasaad,
Rajanikanta, D.L. Roy and Bengali Oldies for the last 3 years.
Performances abroad : in oct. 2005 perfomed as a solo artist in a
Program sponsored by Bisshasahitya Kendro, New York and also
Performen in New Jersy, Pensylvania, Virginia. Attended the
“Fovana Sammelon” Canada in a solo program and also performed
some programs in London.
In 2006 performed some solo programs in London, Paris, Berlin,
Frankfurt.
In 2007 performed in Canada ( Montreal and Toronto) and New
York(Albany).
